Whitney's 1st Post: Simple Prayer in the Grocery Store

I don't always remember to invite Jesus into our days #honestmoment. Sometimes I wake up into a frenzy of little people's request (and protests) and just get busy. Today though, I had high expectations of going grocery shopping with both the boys for more than just a few items and while in the car I felt prompted. Out loud I prayed for peace, good listening ears, no tantrums, and if possible a fun time while searching for our food, all ending with 3 Amens. Well... PRAISE THE LORD because it happened! No tantrums and both boys rode in/on the cart happily eating grapes almost the entire time (we paid for the grapes ahead of time because you can't eat half the grapes then pay!) This outing is proof that even in the little things in life Jesus makes it better and shows me how much I need Him. We are a tantrum throwing, mama getting frustrated, not listening, whining mess without Jesus. Thank you Jesus for your reminders and victories when your presence is intertwined in our days! #weloveJesus
